Putin’s Advances in the Arctic – A $2 Trillion Economic Gamble

Putin is advancing into the Arctic, he has ice breakers keeping it open all year round. This is a key strategy for Russia, Putin will open up a great many cold water ports and have control of any resources that are available in that Region, including gold, uranium, rare earth mineral and oil&gas. It is somewhat of a gamble but he will be uncontested.

The West is aware, but not pushing nearly so hard.
